The Cavin’s Cabin uses the information you submit to handle booking requests and guest reviews.

Booking requests

Your name, email, phone number, stay dates, group size, and special requests are shared with the property owners so they can contact you and manage your stay. These details are not displayed on the guest website. Please avoid including sensitive information in special requests.

Reviews and photos

Your display name, rating, review, and optional photo may be published only after owner approval. Your email remains private. Submit only photos you have permission to share, including permission from recognizable people pictured.

Storage and access

Submitted information and uploads are stored online using the website’s Cloudflare-backed hosting. Photo uploads are re-encoded to remove embedded metadata. Encrypted backups and administrator activity records help protect and recover website information. The owner dashboard uses a necessary session cookie to keep administrators signed in. The site does not take card payments.

Maps

The location section embeds Google Maps. Loading it connects your browser to Google, which applies its own privacy policy.

Questions or removal requests

Contact the property owners through the contact number displayed on the homepage to ask about your information, correct a submission, or request removal of your review or photo. Information is retained while needed to handle your request, manage bookings, or display an approved review.
